On May 4th 2022, the Trans Ally Network organization was registered with the State of Georgia as a Non-Profit Organization. We are excited to bring information to the Transgender community. We have two doctors on the board of Directors. Dr Barbara Joy Jones-Parks a General Family Doctor who supports the Transgender community and is the Vice President of the Board of Directors. We have Dr Lisa Moody a wonderful plastic surgeon who has helped and supported the Transgender Community in her practice and daily life and is a director on the Board of Directors. We also have Dr Vin Tangpricha, an endocrinologist from Emory in Atlanta as an advisor to the Board of Directors. We will be holding our first board of directors meeting to review, modify and vote on the Bylaws and other needed documents. Discussions on the Newsletter, Volunteers, Events, and Fundraisers will be discussed too.
Trans Ally Network strives for support and equality of the Transgender Community by providing information, network, support, and events to help create a safe place to live. We support and love the LGBTQII++ community, though our focus is the “Safe World” for the most discriminated against in the community. “Living Under the Umbrella” of transgender destroys their lives and results in large suicide rates for such a minority of the world.
